Greetings!!

I wasn't a Revivaltime Choir member, but I was/am certainly a Revivaltime Choir fan.

I think I have all the Revivaltime albums -- starting from the ones in the 1950s. I noticed this particular album, and realized that this was the choir group that came by Trinity Temple in Las Vegas in 1975, I think. I was in the Air Force at the time, and had four members of the choir stay at my apartment. That particular visit was notable because the assistant pastor at the Church was Vern McClellan, who was the brother of Cyril.

I seem to recall that after the service the four choir guys that I hosted wanted to see some of the sights around town, so we went casino hoping. And as I recall, we ran into some other Revivaltime choir members who were being escorted around sin city by their hosts!!

I actually remember some of the choir members that I hosted! And for a trifling pecuniary consideration, I promise not to reveal the perps names!!

Seriously, the music of Revivaltime Choir has been a blessing through the years. There are still some songs that the choir did that send a chill up my spine -- "I've Been with Jesus", "Everywhere he Went", "In His Mighty Hands", "Night of Nights", "He came to me", "Fill me Jesus", and others. I just counted -- I've got 81 of the songs that I've "ripped" to my ipod!

Blessings on everyone!! And if you're interested in getting a mp3 version of an old Revivaltime favorite, send me an e-mail.
